Peruvian Chicken will become a weekday regular once you realize how delicious and simple it is to make. This Peruvian Chicken Recipe can be made in the oven or an air fryer.

Marinade the chicken in cumin, paprika, garlic, lime, and vinegar. The strong assertive spices blend effortlessly with the acid from the lime and vinegar. Place in the oven or the air fryer to cook. So simple and easy you will wonder what you did before!

Chicken of choice:

I have used this marinade on boneless skinless chicken breast, boneless skinless chicken thighs, and bone-in chicken legs. It tastes amazing no matter which chicken you prefer.

How to make Peruvian Chicken:

Mix the chicken with all the ingredients and let marinade for at least 30 minutes or preferably overnight.

When ready to eat, simply cook chicken in the air fryer or the oven for a delicious and easy meal.

Goes well with:

Try my Avocado Aji Recipe for the perfect accompaniment. It is the best balance of creamy, spicy, salty, and acid. Pairs well with the bold earthiness of the spiced chicken.

Marinade Chicken in Vinegar:

Marinade uncooked chicken with vinegar to add flavor and moisture. Also the vinegar help tenderize the meat creating juicy and flavorful chicken.

What is an Air Fryer?

The air fryer is an amped-up countertop convection oven.

How Does An Air Fryer Work?

An air Fryer has a compact space for faster cooking. The top of the unit holds a heating mechanism with a fan. The heat the rushes down and around food placed in the basket. This rapid circulation makes the food crisp, much like deep frying.

Is An Air Fryer Healthy:

An argument can be made that an air fryer produces healthier food by using less oil. Frozen french fries prepared in the air fryer contain between 4 and 6 grams of fat versus their deep-fried counterpart at a whopping 17 grams per serving.

I am obsessed with this recipe! I love that I can prep the night before and let all those delicious flavors marinate overnight. So simple and addictive. I made it for my family but the first time I cooked it, I ate half of it before it made its way into the serving platter. No regrets.
